Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Full Moon in
Aries, 19°

Happy Full Moon Everyone!
“We are all relations” as the American Indians say. Kudos to
them for this awareness! The message of this Full Moon
(Aries-Libra) is the unification of all opposites, man and
woman, yin and yang, positive and negative, light and dark
energies. Regretfully, the art of compromise and refinement,
Libra’s nature, seems to be lacking and neglected- as we have
seen, and read in the news lately. Disciplinarian Saturn plays a
big role as he conjoins the Sun on this full moon. Saturn
restrains us from committing foolish acts and encourages respect
for others and theirs. |
The contrasting energies of the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Aries are a
call for us to define our boundaries, to acknowledge our individuality
within all relationships. Aries asks, “Who Am I” while Libra says, “Who
are we?” It is the union of the soul (inner self) and the physical body
(outer self) that we need to achieve in order to find harmony. Without
it, all relationships will be in disarray. Aries represents the energy
of independence and of self-assurance; Libra symbolizes interdependence
and mutuality.
Venus’ move into Scorpio on October 8th (till November 1st)
has challenged intimate relationships and the abilities to manage our
financial responsibilities. Verbal Mercury, which follows into Scorpio
on October 13th (till November 1st), will be
harmoniously relating with imaginative Neptune. It is a good time to
express soothing words to heal wounds based on secrets. But watch out
when charismatic Venus’ opposes majestic Jupiter on October 14th,
as it usually results in diving headfirst into a complex romance
escapade or a major investment. It can drain your bank account in no
time if you’re not careful.
In Sabian Symbol …
19 degrees Aries, indicates “The Magic Carpet. Keynote: The use of
creative imagination”.
19 degrees Libra symbolizes, “A gang of robbers in hiding. Keynote:
Protest against disharmonic and social privilege”.
“In another sense, it is the dark shadow of the ideal of
non-possessiveness. The question is: How valid and effectual is this
kind of protest?” - Dane Ruhdyar
My thoughts…
19 degrees Aries + 19 degrees Libra indicates, a self-serving movement
instigated to throw out social discontentment. Participating people
simply wanted to excuse themselves from doing something more productive
and competitive.
Have a Blessed Full Moon!
And, Keep Sharing the Light!
