Lunar Insight

One thing and only one thing (for now) that astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets, weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature and on human behavior.

In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon, which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life. To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects, then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the project.

So, here we go…

Full Moon in Capricorn
Lunar Eclipse

June 26th, 2010, 4:31 am, PDT

by Marcelina

Greetings Everyone!

The whole world feels like it’s in uproar, folks!  This lunar eclipse in Capricorn requires the leaders and the authorities to move forward to a new direction. The current planetary alignment is a major one for the year 2010. This Full Moon in Capricorn forms a grand cross also known as a grand square involving Pluto, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury.

There are a great many things changing, and we are being called to make the real changes and to not apply only a “band-aid” approach. (read more on Summer Solstice article  2010 on my blog)

While many of us are in the midst of chaos, we can also say that the unity of Uranus (breakthrough) and Jupiter (luck and fortune) in the sign of Aries, is presenting us an opportunity to make a quantum leap for a new and greater future. In life, a time comes when we need a good “shaking-up” in order to get rid of any unhealthy habits or undesirable attitudes – this is that time!! Mars moving into Virgo will help us to define or separate what needs to be retained, and what needs to be let go in our life. An irritating aspect between Venus and Uranus can challenge our personal relationships, a reminder that we have to review and update our tastes and values.  Remember, a Lunar Eclipse always finds a weak point in your life for you to deal with.

Have a safe and blessed Full Moon in Capricorn!
