Lunar Insight One thing and only one thing (for now) that astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets, weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature and on human behavior. In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon, which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life. To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects, then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the project. The Lady Moon is now in a business suit, reserved, demanding and loses her sense of humor quiet easily. Be careful! We can easily be insensitive, cold or display a somewhat severe attitude – a faulty approach to doing business indeed! So, what must we do? Well, yes, we must pay attention to business, and be serious with our job. At the same time, let’s try to develop an amicable form of communication with others, with our boss or co-workers. It is important to own our responsibilities and not to transfer them to someone else to avoid blame. Some of those in leadership positions must reflect on their accomplishments. And, once in awhile a gratitude card is great way to express appreciation to your supporters. So, let us be generous with our smile and laughter. Life is too short to wear tight shoes! Have a Blessed Full Moon! Suggestion: Candle: White, Blue, unscented Oil: Uncrossing for White, Amber for Blue Incense: Cedar Prayer: Great Spirit, I____________ ask you to take away any attachments or obsessions that may be hindering me. Let me understand that comfort, joy and contentment come from within myself, and cannot be found only from material matters, but in my spiritual well-being as well. So Mote It Be. Amen |
