Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Full Moon in
Pisces, 20°

Happy Full Moon Everyone!
This lunar opposition to the Sun in Virgo (Full Moon) widens the
gap between ideal and real matters. Emotions will be strong and
confusing. There’s a yearning to escape from mundane work and
duties into fantasies and illusions, whatever that means to us.
Some people will turn to the use of alcohol, or other
substances, that may induce a feeling of being in a dreamlike
world. I suggest that we reach for a more pragmatic approach –
some order in our life, courtesy of disciplinarian Saturn,
should provide better results. |
This Full Moon in Pisces creates a difficult aspect to the Lunar Nodes
(Gemini-Sagittarius), but it also forms a friendly (trine) aspect with
Mars (in Cancer). A few hours later, the Moon will oppose Venus (in
Virgo). This is an opportunity to confront sensitive issues that concern
our self-worth. Let us all be mindful, however, as to how we express
ourselves to one another. Even the kindest comment or remark may be
taken as criticism, and will provoke the release of bottled up
feelings.
One thing to remember about this full moon… Pisces is the last sign of
the zodiac circle, therefore some ending of unsustainable habits are
needed to be let go of. What am I doing that is ailing my spirit? What
must I do to better understand the changes I am experiencing? How should
I integrate my spiritual self with the mundane self? We will be called
on to deal with situations that have led to excesses and have been
disempowering as Pluto goes on direct motion on September 16th
until April 10, 2012 (it has been retrograde for the last five months).
On Sabian Symbol, Astrological Mandala by Dane Ruhdyar…
20 degrees Virgo represents: “A caravan of cars headed to the West
Coast. Keynote: The need of cooperative effort in reaching any New World
experience.”
20 degrees Pisces represents: “A table set for an evening meal. Keynote:
An indication that in the end and at the appointed time the individual’s
needs will be met among those to whom he is linked by spiritual (or
biological) web of energies.”
My thoughts…
20 degrees Virgo + 20 degrees
Pisces indicates as collective conscious
individuals, we are about to reach a new life experience. A
timely “gratifying” new order has been put in place, perhaps
unknowingly, and shall be carried on by those of service to
the higher power.
Have a Blessed Full Moon…
And, Keep sharing the Light!
