Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy Full Moon Everyone!
This Full Moon in Scorpio highlights the need to make changes in dealing
with finances. The opposing sign, Taurus, deals with personal resources,
while Scorpio deals with shared resources of others.
The
contrasting forces between the complexity of Scorpio Moon and the
simplicity of Taurus Sun are stirring up hidden emotions that involve
fears of something ending. A chance to follow a life path of
simplicity is so frightening for many of us, afraid
that Nature alone cannot provide. With Venus, |
Mercury,
Mars and the Sun, all in the sign of Taurus, we decide to reject
discomfort. Nonetheless, Taurus is there to show that there’s beauty in
the present, while Scorpio urges us to allow the inevitable to end. Both
Taurus and Scorpio are fixed signs adding to our insecurity about making
any changes.
The good
news is… the intensity of this lunar aspect will lift off as the Moon
moves into fiery Sagittarius later that morning. Neptune enters into the
picture an hour later, which turns our attention away from all the
limits of the world.
On Sabian Symbols… Astrological Mandala by Dane Rudhyar
27 degrees Taurus indicates, “An old Indian woman selling the artifacts
of her tribe to passers-by. Keynote: Peaceful adaptation to collective
mind.
27 degrees Scorpio indicates, “A military band marches noisily on
through the city streets. Keynote: The aggressive glorification of
cultural value.”
My thoughts….
27 degrees Taurus + 27 degrees Scorpio, signals a time when the cultural
pride is boasting for an achievement forcibly made through our
collective desires to impress the whole world, desires contrasted by
traditional and simple people who prefer their own quiet and peace to
celebrate such cultural achievement.
Bright Blessings!
Keep Sharing the Light!
