October, 2005 by Marcelina One thing and only one thing (for now) that astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets, weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature and on human behavior. In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon, which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life. To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects, then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the project. So, here we go… | Lunar Insight Full Moon in Taurus November 15th 2005, 4:57 am PST This full moon appears to me like there’s a traffic jam going in the heavens and we really could use somebody like General Patton to direct the traffic. First, we have the full moon in Taurus, a sign that is bound and determined not to move or change unless it sees some miraculous “light” connected to anything that is financially beneficial to it. Second, Mercury (in Sagittarius) the planet of communication has turned retrograde Nov 13th to Dec 3rd, so misunderstandings and misinformation are likely to occur. Be diplomatic or perhaps restrain the urge to say too much for now. And thirdly, Uranus (in Pisces), the planet of explosive and radical tendencies will finally turn direct, Nov 15th after five months of retro movement. There is a sense of urgency to break out from a supposed oppression. So, do you see what I mean? Here’s what I think is going on… Having the full moon in Taurus, everybody is feeling the urge to put a strong hold on their material/financial values. With Mercury going on its backward movement, something related to a past misunderstanding or misinformation will pop up again and we may experience a harsh criticism over that. And, Uranus coming into direct motion, its volatile quality can help us, but only through an intellectual approach to the situation. Uranus in Pisces reminds us to believe in humanity and to resolve hindering situations with “win-win” thoughts in mind. If we can do this, then can we say, “Yes, I have wisdom and I am indeed, an intelligent human being.” Have a Blessed Full Moon in Taurus! |
