Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy Full Moon in Virgo Everyone!
The important role of this Full Moon is critical to the ongoing
opposition between Saturn in Virgo and Uranus in Pisces since the last
quarter of 2008. I do not need to remind anyone that we all feel like
dancing on a very fine line, balancing ourselves between total faith or
falling into fear; only trapeze artists may be able to
reach the other end safely. While Saturn is concerned with
form on all levels,

including the structure of the government and big corporations, Uranus’s
revolutionary forces tear it down rapidly in the name of change and
freedom. The last time these two planets opposed each other was in 1965-
1967. Where were you then?
For simple folks like myself who cannot keep up with the big talk in
politics, this Full Moon in Virgo is honored quietly along with other
likeminded souls. She urges us to purify our body, eliminate unhealthy
habits and focus on a healthy and simpler lifestyle. This may be the
time we hear important resolution on health related issues. The
nitpicking quality of this full moon Virgo requires of us to focus on
the basics, clean and organized in our surroundings and be discerning of
our priorities.
