Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy New Moon in Aquarius Everyone!
And, Happy Groundhog Day!
We, humans are at the time to begin a new awakening to our
individuality. This New Moon in Aquarius brings us a new concept of
freedom from what we perceive to be entanglements and “boxed in”
conditions in life. This New Moon is shoulder-to-shoulder
(conjuncts) with aggressive Mars, pushing for breakthroughs
from old habits and stagnation. We, as spiritual
warriors, will feel the urge

to step forward and make use of our competitive spirit
to initiate dissolution of boundaries that separate us
from one another. “We Are One!” comes the relentless
voice. Meantime, Saturn’s supportive presence in trine
aspect to the Moon suggests taking time, patience and
making a commitment to a new project that can turn it
into a long lasting enterprise / endeavor.
Additional interesting planetary occurrences to watch in
the next few weeks are (1) the complexity provided by
the Sun –Uranus’s challenging aspect between these two
planets. The tendencies are directed to resistance to
authority and the unwillingness to compromise. And (2)
luckily, the harmonious aspect with Venus – Neptune,
Planets of Love and Compassion, will negate all that is
unworthy and repressive to humanity’s progression.
Improper behavior will be forgiven. Yes! On a personal
level, positively utilized, this transit can transform
concepts of caring into actual emotional experience.
On Sabian Symbols… by Dane Rudyhar, Astrological
Mandala, 14 degrees Aquarius indicates “A Train Entering
a Tunnel… Keynote: The ability to shortcut the process
of natural evolution by the exercise of will, mental
skill and physical discipline.”
My thoughts…there are times in life that we have to go
through the tunnel of “Fear of the Unknown”. However, it
is this tunnel that cuts through a long process of
discomfort and uncertainties that can lead us to
freedom.
