Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Solar Eclipse

Happy New Moon, Everyone!
A Solar Eclipse accompanies us at the entrance of the month of June.
A Lunar Eclipse follows on June 15, and another Solar Eclipse will
follow along two weeks later after that, on July 1.
On June 4th, as Jupiter enters the earth fixed sign,
Taurus, it reminds us to place greater importance on safety and
security, rather than exploration and discovery. It will remain in
Taurus for a yearlong stay. The expansive Jupiter will prove to be
adamant about its intention for us, to honestly
assess our

economic and environment situation. Material concern is
the biggest priority now. One thing to remember... the
shadow side of Jupiter (in Taurus) has been noted to be
one of selfishness (greed) and self-indulgence. Our
usual generosity and charitable intentions may not be
practiced by most of us.
Eclipses mark big changes in climate. A natural disaster
is frequently the effect of eclipses but can also be a
signal of an “eclipsed prowess” of male leaders during a
Solar Eclipse. During this New Moon in Gemini, it will
introduce us to diverse ideas, new activities and new
people. Nevertheless, we are urged to clear up cluttered
thinking... reminding us that, words alone without
feelings will not result in successful communication.

My thoughts…
Many people of minority races carry with them as ghosts
of the past the uncertainty of acceptance by others,
upon whose opinions, they had based their own self
worth.
