Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets, weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature and on human behavior. In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon, which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life. To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects, then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the project. by Marcelina Okay folks let’s loosen up! I know it has been quiet a rocky ride for the past few days, but those kind of experiences are the ones that make us appreciate the smoother rides. This new moon in Leo increases our optimism and provides a new perspective on what we truly want for ourselves. A new look is in the making. It could be just getting a new hair cut or buying a new wardrobe that really makes you look like a “million dollar babe.” This is an excellent time to work on raising our self-esteem and gaining back the respect that once had been confused as “love” from another. While we still have this Mercury in retrograde, I would not put high expectations on anything you wish to accomplish rapidly. Just put forth your best effort and be aware that the higher ups are watching to see how well you handle minor setbacks. With that being said, and with Mercury sextile Jupiter until August 7th, you could end up getting a promotion. Now, wouldn’t that be nice. Happy New Moon in Leo!
