Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.

Happy New Moon Everyone!
The New Moon in Leo brings forth self-confidence and self-assurance.
Leo is also known as the zodiac sign of self-importance. If there’s
a bit of arrogance in the air, let’s all remember that there are
times that we need individuals who have the courage to step up to
take a role as a leader. Sometimes it’s a heroic act, other times,
just because… Leaders and leadership qualities are not necessary in
congruent with each other. |
A plethora of planets (with aspects of six
oppositions, six squares and three conjunctions) all
in cardinal signs, the signs of a new season, and a
new stage of life’s development, are now demanding
of us, urgently, to be self-directive, courageous
and be creative. Holey moley!! These planets are
acting like humans!

Everybody wants to be Chief; nobody wants to be
Indian. So, it is not wise for us to bully others
into agreeing with what we want, or a great
disappoint will be your company.
Fun and frolic is the theme of this new moon and we
sure all can enjoy the lighter side of life. This is
a good time to be with family, friends and loved
ones. Playful activities will be beneficial.
Meanwhile, security, resources and personal
relationships may go through a re-evaluation
process. Venus in a difficult aspect to Pluto,
reminds us to ask questions such: “Is this
relationship worth keeping? Or, am I getting paid
enough for my skills and talent? Or, do I need to
develop a new knowledge or skills to affirm my
self-worth?”
The Sabian symbol of 18 degrees Leo tells us of a
“Chemist conducts an experiment for his students.”
The keynote is “Inquiring the hidden process of
nature, the hidden human mind experiences the thrill
of discovery.” (Astrological Mandala, Rudhyar) This
can mean that with all our experiences in life,
Nature’s cyclic process (from birth, growth, and
death) is something humans have yet to learn.
