Lunar Insight One thing and only one thing (for now) that astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets, weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature and on human behavior. In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon, which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life. To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects, then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the project. May it be a love relationship or a business partnership, we are being encouraged to answer to the demands of fairness. Communication and all types of negotiation must be clear, concise and carefully thought out. Never forget the value of tact and diplomacy. Due to Mercury’s reversal movement in the sign of Scorpio, (read Star Watch) verbal expressions can be intense, passionate and hurtful. Remember… we attract our opposites, the greater is the difference the stronger is the attraction. Just like a moth to a flame, there’s an awareness to the danger of the fire yet the attraction is strong and unstoppable. But unlike the moth, you and I have the intellect to make choices… what makes me feel whole and magnanimous? What do I fear? What should I embrace? During the New Moon in Libra, it is time to make those choices and refine them with integrity.
