Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy New Moon in Libra Everyone!
Relationships and alliances, either personal or professional become
the priorities during the New Moon in Libra. As Venus turns
retrograde in the sign of Scorpio on October 8, it signals an
initiation of a new alternative to the current partnering situation.
Venus is a planet of love and beauty - also security, therefore
values and resources will be reviewed, and scrutinized for what they
are worth. Keeping a score of past obligations and old expectations
can only hinder a chance to come into a harmonious agreement.

Having both the Moon move into Scorpio (in a fall) and
Venus retrograding (in detriment) in the sign of
Scorpio, on the same day, October 8th, many
of us are presently experiencing an extreme change, a
transformation or an ending of what once was our life.
The emotional intensity for some people can be
overwhelming. Just remember… “life is never meant to be
struggle.” At the same I suggest you welcome the changes
without fear, knowing that this is only temporary.
On November 7th, Venus will move back to Libra, a new
and a clearer understanding of the situations will come
to light.
The Sabian Symbol indicated for 15 degrees Libra is “A
Circular Paths - Keynote: coming to terms with the
inevitability of establishing steady rhythms of social
activity.”
My thoughts… when the cost of relationship has come to be a
repetitive pattern, purging the old ways may be necessary to
bring forth a new energetic life.
