Lunar Insight One thing and only one thing (for now) that astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets, weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature and on human behavior. In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon, which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life. To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects, then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the project. February 27th, 2006, 4:31 pm PST by Marcelina A new cycle of getting in touch with our spiritual beliefs is now being called for - to renew and be inspired by those beliefs that make us feel closer to our divinity. And, yes, a lot of us will be discussing, comparing, talking about religions, philosophies, or whatever spiritual practices we do, the fact is - We Are All Students of Life. The sensitivity we feel during this new moon in Pisces will be challenged by aggressive Mars, which can make us over-protective of those we think are the “underdogs”. And, with the rebellious Uranus joining in the play in this already sensitive situation, chaotic results may be experienced. During the month of March, Mercury (also in Pisces) the planet of communication will be in retrograde motion. This seeming backward movement of this planet can add to our confusion, and we may find ourselves having difficulty articulating our thoughts. I suggest writing down “reminder notes”, finishing old projects that had been put aside, and trying not to initiate new ones for now. There’s one good thing about this retrograde period - you could hear from someone from the past, a friend, a lover, or even someone you despise, perhaps, to put an end, a closure, or to renew faith to each other.
