Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

New Moon
in Sagittarius ~
14 degrees
December
5th, 2010 9:36 AM PST
by Marcelina
Happy New Moon in Sagittarius Everyone!
The New Moon in Sagittarius highlights new hope, new vision and
fresh ideas for the future. World travelers will find themselves
sprucing up their wings preparing to fly. Foreign cultures, higher
education, either philosophical or spiritual interest will be great
topics during the holiday social gatherings. On the other hand, a
less desirable quality of the Moon in Sagittarius encourages escape
into the future to avoid dealing with the immediate issues.

During this time, we have Mercury/ the messenger,
conjuncts Pluto/ the revealer. Together these two
planets along with the North Node will keep our
discerning eyes wide open for flaws in any plans.
Mercury goes in reversal motion from December 10
through the end of December. Time to retrace and
reorient our selves from an overload of information.
The same day with this New Moon in Sagittarius,
Uranus goes direct, from its five months retrograde
motion. Keep safe while driving or when traveling.
The Sabian Symbol of 14 degrees Sagittarius
describes “The Great Pyramid and Sphinx -
Keynote: The enduring power of occult knowledge and
of its quasi-divine Custodians, ‘Seed-men’, of a
previous cycle.” ( Dane Rudhyar, Astrological
Mandala)
My thoughts…The great pyramid and the sphinx are
symbols of the hidden knowledge in which humans have
derived their original tradition – the inner knowing
of a Divine Presence that lies within us all.
Have a Blessed New Moon!
... and Keep sharing the Light!
