Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

To some of us, this new moon is called Hecate’s Moon. As a goddess
of the underworld, she guides us through the death process towards a
cycle of rebirth.
Fertile, powerful, intense, and passionate! These are the energies
being brought to us by this union of the Sun and Moon in Scorpio.
Changes of a huge magnitude are now the cry of many of us – a true
transformation, a Scorpio message. But, do we understand what’s
being changed or transformed? Have we done our own research? -
another Scorpio message. Our strong desire for change can blur our
ability to think clearly. But be unafraid to find out hidden issues,
and confront it with dignity and calm.
This new moon will bring out fresh impulses to complete necessary
endings. Painful though it may be, now is the time to let go of
outmoded ideas or releasing memories of lost relationships. We must
allow the seed of a brighter future to be manifested by clearing the
way.
