Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.
So, here we go…

Happy New Moon, everyone!
And, Happy May Day!
This New Moon in Taurus happens to fall close to the midpoint
between spring and summer. Excitement and celebrations among the
nature enthusiasts’ community are happening all over the world. It
would be nice if we can keep this celebrated day away from politics
though, won’t you agree??

The Sun presently in Taurus talks about substance. We
have several planets currently in Aries, the pioneering
sign that initiates new beginnings. This conjunction of
five planets includes Uranus, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter
and Mars stimulates assertiveness and activeness.
Early morning, the uncooperative (quincunx) aspect
between the Sun and Saturn (Taurus-Libra) will challenge
our ability to stand our ground or know when to
compromise. It is better for all of us to be gracious
and somewhat diplomatic to avoid friction within our
sphere.
This New Moon trines Pluto (Taurus-Capricorn) encourages
us to eliminate outmoded lifestyle and attitudes,
relationships and behavior patterns to prepare for a new
cycle. A possible way to gain from a perceived loss may
just be at our fingertips. We may find values in under
appreciated things… and abilities.

Moon + Sun 13 degrees Taurus indicates, “A porter
carrying heavy baggage. Keynote: Self-mobilization for
social advantage.”
My thoughts… to live in comfort and a lavish lifestyle
are something that many of us would love to experience.
But, with those desires come responsibilities as well.
What would you do if you only have a year to live? What
would make you truly happy and feel fulfilled?
Have a Blessed New Moon!
... and Keep sharing the Light!
