REIKI- Natural Healing by Lynn Biscoe Reiki is a Japanese word which means "Universal Life Energy" (also known as CHI, Prana, KI, Life Force, God, or Spirit). Reiki is a natural healing art which uses the Universal Life Energy to balance the body’s energy, giving it the support it needs to heal itself. Reiki heals on the physical, emotional and spiritual planes and will adjust to the needs of the receiver. It is that source, constant and infinite, which causes seeds to sprout, flowers to bloom, prayers to be answered, wounds to heal, and miracles to happen.` ` ` Modern physics is now discovering what our ancient civilizations already knew - - - our bodies are NOT solid… we are interacting fields of energy. Reiki works to balance this energy on every level. Reiki is spoken of in the ancient history of Japan: References were made to it in the Buddhist Sutras (ancient, sacred writings), at least 2,500 years ago. In the late 1800’s Dr. Mikao Usui unraveled its mysteries from the sutras, and developed the Usui System of Natural Healing now taught as Reiki. Reiki is a natural energy-activating method. It is a way of using "light-energy" to restore and balance your own vital energy-physically, emotionally, and mentally to connect with your inner self – your spirit. Reiki can and will dramatically facilitate personal growth. The mere act of being open to and accepting a treatment of this type is a way of recognizing one’s self worth. Reiki is a unique, individual experience of using natural energy in a specific way to promote balanced energy, healing, wholeness, and positive wellness in your being and in your life no matter who you are, where you are, or what your age. When Reiki is used as instructed on a regular basis in your life, you will be participating consciously in the process of restoring your vital energy, of gaining wholeness, and of promoting higher consciousness and enlightenment of yourself according to your own natural process. All of us are born with the ability to heal. The difference is that we don’t all know it, and/or we have never been "taught" how to conduct the energy. The Reiki initiation raises your vibration, activating your capacity to heal. It awakens you to remember that you are a healer. There are three (3) levels of attunements received.: REIKI Level 1 you will learn the history of Reiki, the Principals of Reiki, hand positions are learned and practiced for self-treatments and the treatment of others, discussion of Chakras and Chakra displacement, you will receive the 1st Level energy transfer (attunement), and discuss Cost $50.00 REIKI Level 2 is for those experienced in REIKI Level 1, and desire a deeper level of knowledge. This level includes additional energy transfers (attunements) and instructions in the use of the ancient symbols to increase the power of treatments, and send the energy to others who may not be present for treatment. Practice of hand positions and the ancient symbols will also be taking place at REIKI 2. Cost $65.00 REIKI Level 3 is for those of you who have completed REIKI Level 1 and 2 and desire to become a REIKI Master/Teacher. The energy transfer (attunement) will be conducted and Master/Teacher symbols learned, practice of giving an energy transfer, and discussion of Master/Teacher responsibilities will take place. Cost $400.00
In all levels of classes a Manual and Certificate of Completion will be provided. Classes are fun, educational, safe, and you will be steps further on your journey to enlightenment and growth.  Lynn Biscoe is a Reiki Master/Teacher and teaches classes in the Dana Point, CA area. Lynn has a Bachelor’s Degree in Metaphysical Science with a focus on Dream Interpretation, and is currently working on her Ph.D. in Metaphysical Counseling with a focus on Natural Healing. Lynn will also be attending Mueller College part-time to become a Holistic Health Practitioner beginning in December of 98.
