Lunar Insight One thing and only one thing (for now) that astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets, weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature and on human behavior. In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon, which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life. To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects, then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the project. A Good Friday, as I can remember in my youth in the Philippines, was a very somber time – a day of solitude and reflection. This same energy may also be used to reflect on some important issues of our life that are now in need of a resolution. During this full moon in Libra, contractual issues, whether business or personal, will be in the forefront. A balancing approach on the events pertaining to the law and the justice system, fairness in personal relationships | or marital partnerships is strongly encouraged. You see…with Mars the God of War confronting Pluto the God of the Underworld, we can almost be certain that some unpleasant emotions will unravel – and have potential to be really ugly. In personal issues, the struggle between “what I want for myself’ and “what can I share with others” are becoming evident, yet, the big question is how? Should we stay in a present situation and learn the art of compromise, or go in separate ways for a career move with a promise of future gains and rewards? I’d say, any decision is at least a decision…just make one, remembering to be fair to everyone involved.
