Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.

Happy New Moon Everyone!
And… Happy Chinese New Year of the Earth Ox!
We have come to the time that fresh ideas, new knowledge about our
societal existence takes the number one priority. We are urged to
take a bold step and be willing to experiment with some of these
ideas. Using new technologies and inventions are common interests
among many of us involved in big organizations. With the solar
eclipse and Mercury retrograde, some information may be erased,
rewritten or be given new ‘identity’.

The message to remember around this Solar Eclipse New Moon is
liberty, freedom and teamwork. Having these in mind, the power to
launch new endeavors is at its best. Humanitarian efforts shall be
supported by the society, even by some of those with differing
ideas. With the Sun, and Moon in Aquarius, but also Jupiter,
North Node, Chiron, and Neptune, these planetary influences are
amplifying hopes and dreams of the future.
The
new Moon in Aquarius is about our initiation to tap into the
collective consciousness.
What does this mean? That this is an appropriate time to study about
freedom versus compliance, and rebels without a cause. On the other
hand, maybe it’s time to be tolerant to others’ beliefs, racial and
cultural backgrounds, gender and other societal standing. Indeed, it
is a challenge some to of us, at the same time it’s a good way to bring
an awareness that regardless of what kind of labels you wear:
privileged or poor, educated or ill-informed, republican or
democrat, you are still a member of the human race. What matters is
the acceptance of what is. Hopes and fears are found on the same
page, it’s only the flip side of each other.
