Lunar Insight
One thing and only one thing (for now) that
astronomers, astrologers, geologists, sailors, poets,
weatherpersons, fishermen, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists can
seem to agree upon, the Moon and Her amazing influences in nature
and on human behavior.
In astrology, as women, we are ruled by the Moon,
which represents our emotions and feelings. With it, is the
receptivity of others’ emotions as well, the reason why intuition is
far more stronger in women than in men. As Wise Women, we have the
power to capture Her magnificence and apply it into our daily life.
To begin with, we have a new moon, a time for starting new projects,
then two weeks after, we have a full moon, a good time to expect
fruition then release those that are no longer beneficial to the
project.

Happy New Moon Everyone!
Leo,
ruled by the Sun the star of the solar system, represents
authenticity and magnanimity. In human anatomy, it rules the heart
and the spine – the individual’s sense of will and strength. Knowing
that, this Leo new moon encourages us to identify “what do we live
for and is it within our reach?” Do we have the courage to follow
through what our hearts call us to express?

This New Moon in Leo offers a new fresh outlook in
self-expression. Opposing the Sun and Moon's unified
intention to create a happy day, are challenges from
the expansive, illusive, compassionate guys:
Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron. They are promising a
big dream. There’s only one problem… the new moon is
in a sleep mood (void of course) for four hours as
she prepares her entry into the sign of Virgo at
7:01 am. Discriminatory thinking should kick in,
helping us to separate reality from fantasy.
During the morning hours, a feeling of being “under
the weather” may be apparent in most of us. It’s
okay… a little rest is what most of us need. To be
somewhat prudent and cautious especially when it
comes to health related concerns, issues pertaining
to health programs are major factors that boggle the
mind. Regardless of what is your personal concern,
we are being urged to focus with our physical image,
and that may have a lot to do in starting a new
health discipline.
New Moons always call for new beginnings. Leo’s
message of new beginnings focuses on showcasing what
makes us feel happy. Is it about romance, your
children, entertaining, or just simply getting a
bouncy layered Lioness haircut? Whatever you choose
to do, WILL yourself to feel beautiful, radiant and
joyous as you imagine the Sun in its magnified power
and brilliance.
