The Chela Bookstore was opened in October of 1986, in Laguna Niguel, California by John & Marcelina De Lorez. In July of 1991 we moved the store to Dana Point, California and became "The Chela II Bookstore," and then in August of 1997 our name was changed to Mystical Minds. For thirteen years, The Chela II and Mystical Minds Bookstores worked to provide a safe haven in Dana Point where people could gather to be exposed to new ideas, compare notes on life experiences, find fellowship, and know that they are not alone on their life paths, whatever route that path takes them. Our store contained "Books and Gifts for the Mystical Mind", and our guiding force has always been "We Honor and Respect All Religions and Philosophies". On December 31, 2004, we closed our doors, for what we hope will be only a few months, and began scouting for a new location. Our retail is for the present, an entirely internet business, but we are continuing to provide Classes and Readings in facilities that have been made available to us. For the present we will be holding our Classes and Readings at Sagewood Wellness Center, in Unit A of our old building at 34213 Pacific Coast Highway, Dana Point, CA.
